Kenneth Feucht, MD, PhD Biography

Surgical Oncologist at Puyallup Surgical Consultants
Con to the question "Should Euthanasia or Physician-Assisted Suicide Be Legal?"

“On March 6, 1996, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and again on April 2, 1996, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals argued in favor of allowing physicians the right to kill their patients, if requested and performed in a manner agreed upon by the state. This announcement came as a bitter blow to me, as I realized that soon physician-assisted suicide (PAS) and euthanasia may become common medical procedures… We [Christian physicians] have the ability to change, or at least restrain the progress of evil, and will be held accountable to Almighty God if we do not speak out against this great sin.”

“Physician-Assisted Suicide–A Time for Action,” Journal of Biblical Ethics in Medicine
